Volkswagen is looking to get smaller – that has taken the wraps off its new VW Up! 2012 drive from the city before its official debut next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. In advance by the concept of the same name in the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Up! bottom slots in the VW line – fill the gap left in 2005 by Lupo – willing to take on the narrow streets of European cities.

VW also pack the VW Up! 2012 technology with high-end security as the new emergency braking system in the city. Similar City Safety Volvo system, the Board uses a laser system to detect pedestrians or vehicles in front of the car and can automatically activate the brakes to reduce the possibility of an accident. The system is activated at speeds up to 18 kilometers per hour and will be standard on all Up! models.

The 2012 Volkswagen Up! make its official debut next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and sales in Europe will begin in December this year. While prices have not been announced yet, VW has announced along with the Up! White and VW Up! 2012 Black editions launch, buyers can choose between the base and on top! trim levels.
