2012 Peugeot 4008
New Peugeot 4008 2013, the dimensions of which 4 340 mm in length, a width of 1800 and 1630 in height, has a wheelbase of 2670 millimeters, and is based on the platform of the car Mitsubishi ASX, known in the U.S. auto market as the Outlander Sport, and in Japan under the name «RVR». The new compact crossover Peugeot 4008 2013 – the result of partnership of French automaker PSA Peugeot Citroën and the Japanese Mitsubishi, which began work in early 2010.
Updated Peugeot 4008 2013 , Peugeot completes one of its four engines, two of which run on petrol and two diesel fuel.
Petrol versions include a 1.6-liter engine produces 116 horsepower with 152 lb-ft of torque and a 2.0-liter, 150-horsepower engine that develops 198 Nm of torque. Both power units of the new Peugeot 4008 2013 led the movement two or four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission as standard, while a 2.0-liter version of the crossover, as an additional option available for selection stepless CVT.
Diesel engines of the new Peugeot 4008 2013 – a 1.6-liter, 112-horsepower engine which develops 270 Nm of torque and a 1.8-liter engine rated at 150 horsepower with peak torque of 300 Nm. HDi turbo diesel is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
The automaker from France reported that the car market for Europe, the new Peugeot 4008 2013 will be available with a choice of two diesel engines and four-wheel drive only, which allows the driver to choose one of three modes – 2WD, 4WD and LOCK. In the first case the Peugeot 4008 2013 is driven through the front wheels, while the second and third torque distribution between front and rear axles of the new Peugeot 4008, controls the electronics.
